He was predeceased by: his son Johnny Stewart; his parents, Jessie J. Stewart and Florence Bowman Powell; and his siblings, Bobby Stewart and Kathy Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Moore (Aaron); his grandchildren, Joseph Huff, Aimee Huff, Anthony Huff and Katelynn Huff; and his siblings, Sharron Peeples (Johnny), Brenda Usry and Roger Stewart (Sandra).
