He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gray Derrick; his parents, Noah Kala Derrick and Lillian Virginia Wooley Derrick; his siblings, Daniel Woody and Helen Sullivan; and also, Thee Olan, Quinton Grady, John Arlis and Don Harlis Derrick.
He is survived by: his children, David Derrick (Waylon Garrett) of Natchez, Bobby Derrick (Shannon) and Glen Allen Derrick (Gail Cieszkiewicz) of Houston. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
