He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Golden of Walnut Grove and Della Golden (Davis) of Waynesboro. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Golden (Walker) of Clifton, MS; his daughter Dr. Kim Golden of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.; his grandson Mark McKenzie of Brandon, MS; his great grandchildren, Christian McKenzie of Gulf Shores, AL and Cailin McKenzie of Summerdale, AL; and his sister-in-law Pansy Walker McKenzie of Florence, MS.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes - Morton (3555 US-80, Morton, MS 39117). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Clifton Baptist Cemetery (5034 Clifton-Hillsboro Rd, Forest, MS 39074).
