He was predeceased by: his wife Janie Carolyn Barton; his parents, Edgar Ottis Barton and Gladys Littlejohn Barton; and his brother Edgar Julius Barton. He is survived by: his children, Becky Rockhill (Vic) of Forest, MS, Butch Barton (Kay) of Forest, MS and Brett Barton (Molly) of Frederick, MD. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
