She was predeceased by: her husband Basel M. Porter; her parents, Otho Prentiss Bailey and Bernice Laverne Bailey; and her grandparents, Alonzo M, Flora Pricilla Bounds, Jessie N. and Sallie M. Bailey.

She is survived by: her sons, Miles Porter (Wendy) of Morton and Pete Porter (Lesley) of Morton; her grandchildren, Dustin Porter, Mary Frances Porter, Kelsey Wolfe (Keifer), Kyle Porter (Raven) and Easten Porter; her great grandchildren, Zander Wolfe and Tylan Porter; and her stepchildren, John, Rhonda Porter, Jason, Teresa Porter, Sidney, Richelle Porter, Sandra Joiner (Jim), Marsha, Jerry Henderson and Mary Evelyn Adair.

Memorials may be made in her honor to St. Judes or March of Dimes.
