The memory of Emma L. Cross of Morton, Mississippi, who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richmond Renfroe and Maggie Harrell Renfroe; her siblings, Ruby Smith, Max Logan and Richie Renfroe; and her friend Linda Shedd.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Cross; her children, Derrell Cross (Darlene), Pam Cross Lee (Butch) and Rusty Cross (Tanya Trawick); her grandchildren, Derrick Cross (Emily), Devin Cross Bobo, Thomas Lee (Lacey), Dallas Fairchild, Dylan Cross, Alex Lee, Nikki Lee and Peyton Cross; her great grandchildren, Regan Bobo (Hunter Pigott), Tyler Bobo, Taelor Fairchild, Emma Claire Bobo, Sadie Fairchild, Kole Wade and Quinn Lee; and her friends, Helen Parker and Betty Lockhart. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes - Morton (3555 US-80, Morton, MS 39117). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery (446 Rehobeth Rd, Pelahatchie, MS 39145).
