She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Lenora Diggs Warren; her husband Ralph Nute Purvis; and her siblings, Thomas Tillman Warren, William Marbo Warren, James Solomon Warren, Horace Edward Warren, Wesley Franklin Warren, Ora Bell Wicker and Edriss Lenora Ray.
She is survived by: her siblings, Vernon Warren and Virgie Lee Ward; and her children, Nora Waddel, Faye Jackson and Keith Purvis. She is also survived by spouses, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to The Edna Purvis Fund at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Donations made be made online on their website or mailed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital/ALSAC, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015.
