He was predeceased by: his father George Merchant. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Patrick Merchant; his pets, Buster, Rascoe and Rocky; his wife Debra Merchant; his children, Ryan Lawrence (Laura) of Quincy, IL and Amanda Lawrence of Quincy, IL; his siblings, Kirk Merchant of Morton, MS, Karl Merchant (Sharon) of Ocean Springs, MS and Amy Merchant of Florence, MS; his grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Eddie and Oliver Lawrence; and his nephews, Matthew Merchant and Hunter Pierce. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to: American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
