Though Donald Lee may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, AJ Layton and Willie Layton; and his brother Ronald Layton. He is survived by: his wife Diane Layton of Morton, MS; his children, Kenneth Layton (Kenny) of Morton, MS and Amanda Layton (Rebecca) of Morton, MS; and his granddaughter Emily Layton (Gracie) of Morton. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee Magee (302 8th Ave SW, Magee, MS 39111). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
