David Dee Yates Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2024, at the age of 83, David Dee Yates (Morton, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. D. Yates and Lela Goss Yates; and his siblings, Lyrie Barrett, Mildred Collins, Billie Jean Goldapske, Floramae Turnage and Jack Yates.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Lynne Yates of Morton; his children, William David Yates (Sharon), Robert Mitchell Yates (Dee) and Shawn Castles Yates; his brother W. L. (Dub); his nephew Kenneth Wilson (Anne); and his grandchildren, Joseph David, Jason Mathew, Robert Dale, Ashley Nicole, TimothyMitchell, Cody Mitchell, Katie Diane, Jesse Robert, Wendy, Mariah and Cassey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in David's name to St. Jude's Hospital.
