He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dennis and Melvina Creel Dennis; his wife Myrtle Richardson Dennis; his sons, Greg Dennis and Shannon Dennis; and his grandchildren, Nickki Dennis, Amanda Dennis and Keagan Bryant.
He is survived by: his son Jeff Dennis (Susan); and his brother Otha Dennis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
