It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarissa (Rissa) O. Tagert (Morton, Mississippi), who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Burnnie Frazier of Pulaski; her father-in-law Ed Tagert of Branch; her sister-in-law Margie Hill (Clyde) of Donaldsonville, LA; and her grandchild Charlie McCurdy. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Tagert of Branch; her mother Otense Frazier of Pulaski; her mother-in-law Aline Tagert of Branch; her daughter DeAnna McCurdy (Adam); her grandsons, Avry and Carson McCurdy of Branch; her brothers, Michael Frazier (Stacey) of Pulaski and Xian Jiang (Hein Lee) of Brandon; and her brothers-in-law, David Tagert (Wanda) of Pearl and Dalton (Marquetta) of Branch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
