She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Posey and Frances Posey; her husband William Wesley Thompson; her son William Edward Thompson; and her brothers, Bruce Posey and Benny Posey.
She is survived by: her son Wesley Dwayne Thompson of Leesburg, MS; her siblings, Bob N. Posey (Sue) of Brandon, MS, Brenda Bailey of Carthage, MS, Barbie Posey of Gulfport, MS and Belinda Posey of Wichita; her grandchild Paul Rugg; and also Bonnie Daigle (Al) of Hattiesburg, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
