She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold C. Ray and Patricia A. Hutchins Ray. She is survived by: her husband David Smith; her children, Jason Weaver and Victoria Weaver; her grandchildren, Harleigh Weaver, Jaylah Crowdus, McKenzie Weaver, Bentley Counts, Liam Everette Smith and Ellery Craft; and her siblings, Larry Ray, Debbie Greene and Kimberly Gonzalez.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh Tuesday (219 Sylvarena Ave, Raleigh, MS 39153). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
