She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Lewis and Vera Pearl Lewis (Pearlie); her husband Robert Chesnut; her son Jimmy Lynn Chesnut; her brothers, Dwight Lewis and Bobby Madison; her grandson Lynn Chesnut; and her great grandchild Allison Chesnut.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Laura Chesnut Cook (Dean Cook); her grandchildren, Neal Chesnut (Kit), Krista Franklin (Sean) and Brittney McCurdy (Ben); her niece Judith Lewis; and her grandchildren, Robert Lynn Chesnut, Anna Claire Chesnut, Hallie McCurdy, GemmaLynne Franklin, Hagen McCurdy and Callan Franklin.
