It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berta D. Squires (Morton, Mississippi), who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Parker and Lillie Parker; her husband Earl H. Bud Squires; her siblings, Glover, Fred, Jim Parker, Helon Atkinson, Imogene Woods, Margaret Waltman, Jennie Kate Squires, Audrey Goode and Deniece Jenkins; her granddaughter Wanda Trest Doster; her great grandchild Tyler Lamar Gunn; and her son-in-law Jack Lamar Pope.
She is survived by: her children, Earlene Trest (Charles), Earnest Squires (Dottie), Bettie Smith, Sarah Pope and Barbara Stewart (Clark); her brother Vernon Melvin Parker (JoAnn); and also, Bryant Jr. (Nookie) and Jennie Kate. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren 23 Great Grandchildren 8 Great-Great Grandchildren.
