He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Ray Massey and Gatha Traxler Massey; and his siblings, Howard, Willie Ray, Ward A. Massey and Helen Smith Black.
He is survived by: his wife Mozell Massey of Morton; his children, Ray Massey (Jackie) of Clinton, Terri Porter (William) of Morton and Tammie Massey of Morton; his granddaughters, Jannie Lynne Hollingshead (Rachel), Kristen Cherry (Will) of Brandon and Emma Grace Thomas of Morton; his great grandchildren, Camilla and Connalie Cherry; his siblings, Grace Garrard of Starkville, Gaines Massey (Linda) of Brandon and Joyce Lindsey of Morton; and his close friend Kent Pickett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
