He is survived by: his wife Debra King of Morton, MS; his daughters, Daisy Regina Coley (James) of Morton, MS and Shirley Lorena Runnels (Michael); his siblings, Dorothy Faye Smith of Lorena, MS, Mary Ann Jones of Philadelphia, MS, Clara Hillhouse of Leakesville, MS and Edward King of Forest, MS; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Runnels, Michelle Fortenberry, Elijah Coley, Samantha Parker and Shelley Tuberville. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
