She was predeceased by: her parents, Haskell Hood and Beatrice Montgomery Hood; her husband Jimmy Dickey; her daughter Loretta Lynn Rushing; and her brothers, Phillip, Harrison, James and Jessie Hood.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Dickinson of Fulton, Kim Curtis (Mike) of Liberty and Regina Duffie of Baldwyn; her grandchildren, Justin Dickinson (Sandy) of Mantachie, Ashley Montgomery (Tyler) of Baldwyn, Morgan Starkweather (Chance) of Brandon and Olivia Duffie of Baldwyn; her great grandchildren, Aaron Dickinson, Kaid Harper, Kylen, Kash Harper, Chloe Montgomery, Jace Michael Starkweather and Rylan Elizabeth Starkweather; and her siblings, Eva Dunn, Francis Williams, Martha Foster and Junior Hood. She is also survived by her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren.
