It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sadie Aileen Downs of Mooreville, Mississippi, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her parents, Shanna Ellis Downs and David G. Downs, II; her sisters, Sianna Downs of Mooreville and Audrey Downs of Mooreville; her grandparents, Terry, Nita Dickey of Mooreville, Teresa Oakes of Cullman, Ala. and Gerald Downs of Vicksburg; and her aunts and uncles, Dana Ellis of Mooreville, Ginny Dickey of Mooreville, Traci Barnes (David) of Cullman, Ala., Mark Kinny (Jennifer) of Texas and Michael Downs of Wisconsin. She is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mooreville High School (115 Rd 1429, Mooreville, MS 38857). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
