He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Pearce and Mildred Morgan Pearce; his grandparents, Dewey, Mozel Pearce, John and Anna Lee Morgan of Tennessee; and his son Steven Van Pearce.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Vanlandingham Pearce; his children, Craig Pearce (Kristi Pearce Tutor), Cook Coggin Engineers and Kristi Tutor (Jeremy); his grandson Robert Winters; and his brother Rick Pearce (Pam) of Keller, TX. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
