It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Clayton of Mooreville, Mississippi, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Eddie Bates and Minnie Hester Bates; and her brothers, Eddie Bates and Leon Bates. She is survived by : her husband John Clayton of Mooreville; her daughters, Debbie Yant (Mitchell), Angie Garrett (Barry) and Pam Dobbs (Eric); her grandchildren, Kimberly Brock (Curtis), Jonathon Yant (Anna), April Reich (TJ), Dena Hopkins (Maverick) and Taylor Hardin (John Robert Bishop); her great grandchildren, Anna Grace Clemons, Mollie Clemons, Easton Brock, Lynleigh Yant, Addison Reich, Madi Reich, Rylee Hopkins, Mackenzie Long and Ivy Jane Long; her nephews, Greg Bates (Sharon), Keith Bates and Shane Bates; and her close friend Dorothy Humphres.
