He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Orville and Ollie Hunt Edwards; his stepdaughter Jackie Bracken; and his siblings, Joseph P. Edwards, Lonnie Hoyle Edwards, Lawrence Edwards and Carolyn Edwards Kingsley.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Holder Edwards of Mooreville; his children, James Edwards (Tanya) of Mooreville and Bobbie Sue White (Russell) of Mukileo, Washington; his stepdaughters, Amy Aven (Mark) of Mooreville and Lisa Glidewell of Guntown; his daughters, Vivian Whisenant (Donald) of Roy, Laura Lee Collins of Arizona and Melody Story of Arizona; and his sister-in-law Edith Edwards of New Mexico. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
