He was predeceased by: his niece Tami Wright. He is survived by: his wife Sue Wright of Mooreville; his children, Jason Wright (Ruth) of Tupelo and Candi Quartaro (Brent) of Saltillo; his grandchildren, Zoe Wright, Aiden Wright, Chandler Quartaro and Will Quartaro; his brother James Vance Wright (Patsy) of Rome; and his nephews, Ian Keith Wright of Haltom City and Todd Wright (Sharon) of Hemphill.
