He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward, Sr. and Edell Peyton. He is survived by: his wife Janet Peyton of Monticello, MS; his children, Wayne T. Peyton of Monticello, MS, Nicholas Peyton of Monticello, MS and Shequita P. Stonewall of Monticello, MS; and his siblings, Charles Peyton, Jr. of Monticello, MS, Alvin C. Peyton, Sr. of Monticello, MS and Carol A. Moye of Monticello, MS. He is also survived by grandchildren: 5; great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (85 Oak Grove Rd, Monticello, MS 39654). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
