She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Clayton Garris and Margaret Nadine Ketring; her stepfather Ellis Denver Howell; her sister Sandra Denise Howell; her brother-in-law Joe Henry, Sr.; and her nephews, Joe Henry, Jr. and Kyle Howell.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Lane Dunaway and Misty Lynn Dunaway; her siblings, Ellis Howell, Jr., Tammy Michell Martin (Marty) and Teresa Lynn Rutland; and her grandchildren, Abbie Kate Ritchey, Emma Klaire Ritchey and Brooklyn Marie Dunaway.
