He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sylvester Lambert and Burneda Watson Lambert; his wife Barbara Lambert; his daughter Peggy Calder; his grandson Jacob Brignac; and his brother Clifford Lambert.

He is survived by: his sons, John Lambert (Linda) of Monticello, MS and Tony Lambert (Alesa) of Brookhaven, MS. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
