He is survived by: his wife Lena Mae Thames; his daughter Paula Smith (Danny); his daughter-in-law Tammy Thames; his grandchildren, Leigh Davis (Daniel), Lauren Smith, Landon Thames, Lane Smith (Samantha) and Logan Thames (Kelsa); his children, Louise Cliburn (Roger) and Wilton Townsend (Linda); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Townsend, Erica Whitaker (Jimmy), Melissa Lanius (Perry), Kim Hutchins (Roger) and Brian Townsend (Whitney). He is also survived by eight great-granddaughters and four great grand-sons.
