It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba H Nelson (Monticello, Mississippi), born in Oak Grove, Louisiana, who passed away on March 26, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stanton and Nora Wooten Hoffman; her husband Euel Robert Nelson; and her son Lawrence Howard Nelson. She is survived by: her grandson Jason Nelson (Connie) of Smithdale, MS. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
