She was predeceased by: her parents, T. C. Beeson and Amanda Lou Beeson; her husband Charles C. Stokes, Sr.; her son Alton Matthew Stokes; her siblings, Burnell Beeson and Genola Barlow; and her great grandchildren, Matthew Tyler Brister and Isaac Matthew Pradillo.
She is survived by: her children, Chuck Stokes, Jr. of Sontag and Margaret Amanda Stokes Allen (Gary) of Monticello; and her sisters, Diann Berry of New Hebron and Delma Wallace of Monticello.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (904 W Thomas E Jolly Dr, Monticello, MS 39654). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Monticello Municipal Cemetery.
