We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2020, at the age of 84, Joann Givens Ortega (Monticello, Mississippi), born in Baskin, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Givens and Shelton Givens; and her granddaughter Jolie Hajovsky. She is survived by: her sister Gail Howell of Lucedale, MS.; her children, Renee Mancini of Slidell, LA, Dana Hajovsky of Pflugerville, TX, Kerri Smith (Michael) and Jaime Ortega of Monticello, MS.; her grandchildren, Richard Mancini Jr. (Melissa), Michelle Mancini Walker-Rice (Douglas), Emily Kinsey (Brandyn), Brianna Hajovsky and Linzi Blacklidge (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Braden Mancini, Spencer Mancini, Royce Mancini, Bentley Kinsey, Brady Kinsey and Mason Cosper.
