He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Carter and Mary Lee Carter (Henderson); and his brother Edmond Stanley Carter of Jacksonville. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Carter (Ready); his sons, John Edmond Carter (Jill Charmaine) of Ruth and Jesse Webb Carter (Lori) of Auburn, AL.; his grandchildren, Austin, Roman, Dylan, Jackson and London Carter; and his sister Mary Carter Brown of McDonough.
