He was predeceased by: his parents, Josie Reid (Miller) and Joseph Clifford "J. C." Reid; his siblings, Jerry C. Reid and Patty Reid Caranna; his brothers-in-law, John Caranna, Richie Powell, Richard Garrett and David Garrett; his nephew Kevin Reid; his great-niece Kaitlyn Tullis; and his close friend Robby Sauls.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Garrett Reid; his daughters, Rachel Bost (Marty) of Oxford, MS and Christa Neal (David) of Monticello, MS; his grandchildren, Taylor Bost and Cody Bost; his brother Miller Reid (Dorothy) of Brandon, MS; his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Reid of Tilton, MS, Diana Garrett of Monticello, MS, Vicky Garrett of Jayess, MS and Mary Ruth Powell of Jayess, MS; and his friend Carroll Case. He is also survived by his family, friends.
