He is survived by: his wife Anna Sills Walker; his daughter Christy W. Echert (Heath); his granddaughter Emmy Echert of Daphne, Alabama.; and his cousins, Tommy Bass, Dr. Billy B. Thames and Pat Thames Douglas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
