He is survived by: his wife Maxine Hamilton Godwin of Monticello; his son Dan Godwin Jr. of Pacifica, CA; his brother Joe Godwin (Bonnie) of Gautier, MS; his sister-in-law Paulette Roberts (Dennis) of Vancleave, MS; and his great grandchild Abbigale Walker of Monticello, MS.. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
