He is survived by: his wife Margaret King of Monticello, MS; his children, Carl King, Jr. (Betsy), Kenneth White (Kim), Tammy King Wyatt (Bill), Sherry King Morris (Tony), Sharon Mitchell (Marty) and Carol Griffin; his grandchildren, Laurie, Lindsey, Nathan, Haley, James, Conner, Blake, Loren, Katie, Heather, Mckenna and Colby; and his sister Ruth King Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (618 Carmel-New Hope Rd, Monticello, MS 39654). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery (618 Carmel-New Hope Rd, Monticello, MS 39654).
