She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Smith and Jewel Smith. She is survived by: her niece Georgia Newsome; and her nephew Reverend Oles Newsome.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rocky Branch Baptist Church (188 Church St, Monticello, MS 39654).
