She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ruport Parker and Fannie Inez Davis Parker; her son Paul Furr; her granddaughter Krystal Lynn Todd; and her brother Joseph Parker.
She is survived by: her husband Thurman Clyde Carpenter of Mize; her children, Charles Parker (Michelle) of Puckett, Mitchell Furr (Jennifer) of Mize and Glenda Crawford (Ronald) of Mendenhall; her stepdaughters, Lisa Carpenter of Morton, Cynthia Carpenter of Leesburg and Jennifer Carpenter of Sebastopol; her daughter-in-law Kim Furr of Benton; and her sisters, Lottie Hall of Mt. Olive, Mary Elizabeth Summerhill of McLaurin, Sheila Thames of Mt. Olive and Pattie Beers of Mize. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
