He is survived by: his wife Reba McKissack; his children, Bethany Byrd (BJ) and Jonathan McKissack (Cami); his grandchildren, Destiny Austin (Ty), Jeremy Hux (Sydney), Dawson Hux, Daylen Hux, Hudson McKissack and Evie Kate McKissack; and his siblings, David McKissack (Kim), Joan Valentine, Janice Sherman (Danny), Susan Bolian (Danny) and Donna McKissack. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
