He is survived by: his wife Ruth Rankin Nations; his daughter Cherie Hart; his stepdaughters, Jeanette Kennedy, Sandra Kennedy (Ricky) and Debra Warren (George); his son Joe David Nations; his stepdaughter Kim McMillen; and his sister Mevline Johnston. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
