He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransom Hand and Hattie Mae Dickerson Hand; and his siblings, William Fred Hand and Mary Lee Hand. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Dennis (Orea) of Foxworth, Josephine Gunter of Mize, Jane Hand of Laurel, Carl Hand (Hop), Carrol Hand (Judy) of Laurel, Jerry Lee Hand, Sr. (Trudy) of Mize, Tommy Neil Hand (Brenda) of Taylorsville and Gale Hand of Mize. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
