Alta Maxine Clark Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta Maxine Clark of Mize, Mississippi, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Willard R. Clark; her parent Mack Williamson; her grandmother Lee Knight Williamson; and her siblings, Graham Williamson, Mae Leggett, Wanda Bolton, Brenda Rowell, Nancy Beech and Rita Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Scotty Clark of Mize, MS, Doug Clark (Missy) of Mize, MS, Dannell Clark of Mize, MS and Melonie Chain (Chuck) of Collins, MS; her grandchildren, Heather Blackwell (Cody), Michael Clark (Crystal), BJ Blackwell (Haley), Charlie Chain (Kimberly), Brande Clark, Josh Clark (Bailey), Dillon Chain and Seth Clark (Mercedes); and her siblings, Butch Williamson, Chuck Williamson (Tesa), Polly Autry (Jimmy) and Amber Magee (Don). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Liberty Landmark Missionary Baptist Church (507 Scr 152, Mt Olive, MS 39119). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the New Liberty Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (Mt Olive, MS 39119).
