We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2022, at the age of 93, Belva Johnston Pleasants of Minter City, Mississippi, born in Chunky, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Parks and Evan Johnston; and her sisters, Bernita Armacost (Dale) and Ruth Round (Roy). She is survived by: her husband Hal; her children, Hal C. Pleasants, Jr. (Alyce) of Jackson, Dudley C. Pleasants (Kay) of Greenwood and Annette Pleasants Mize (Allen) of Greenwood; and her friend Regina Henderson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Minter City United Methodist Church, Locus Benedictus, Beacon Harbor, or the charity of your choice.
