She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold James Fortner and Mayrene Simpson Fortner Coin (Douglas L. Barnes); her daughter Kathryn Renee Barnes Ingram; her sister Linda Weaver Fowler; and her great grandchild Ansley Pate Scribner.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Barnes; her children, Cedie B. Kendall (Keith) of Merigold, MS, Steve Barnes (Joanna) of Merigold, MS, Zandra B. Crocker of Merigold, MS and Hurley McMillian (Susan) of Southaven, MS; her brother William "Buddy" Weaver of Poplar Bluff, MO; her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Fowler of Truman, AR and Jerry Barnes (Mery) of Cullman, AL.; her grandchildren, Brian Kendall (Jamie), Jonathan Kendall (Jennifer), Jennifer Watts (Jeremy), Douglas Harmon, Michael Turner (Laney), Brittney Barnes, Jenna Weeks, Jordan Weeks, Colby Rokasky (Tess), Danny McMillian, David McMillian (April) and Jessica Myers (Josh); her friend Nancy Boyd; and her grandsons, Reece Crocker and Jeremy Watts. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a special sister.
