He was predeceased by: his wife J. Lolita Partridge; his parents, William H. Partridge, Sr. and Mary E. Whatley; and his sister Patsy Culpepper. He is survived by: his sons, Billy Partridge (Sharon) and Stephen Partridge (Michelle); his granddaughters, Heather Dalton (Logan), Stephanie Durant (Adam), Emily Bean (Cody), Zoey Partridge and Sabrina Partridge; and his sister Mary Elizabeth Rodgers-Clay. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
