Shirley Faye Creel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Faye Creel of Meridian, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavern Snowden and Beatrice Snowden (Fulton); and her brother Lavern Snowden, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Creel; her sons, Greg Creel (Donna) and Keith Creel (Renee); her grandchildren, Cody Creel (Valerie), Sara Creel, Chloe Lewis (Colton) and Lyla Graham; and her great grandchildren, Ivey, Case Creel and Gentry Lewis. She is also survived by sisters, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes North (7774 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Fellowship Baptist Church (9325 Fellowship Rd, Meridian, MS 39305).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund in honor of Shirley Creel.
