It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger M Davidson (Meridian, Mississippi), who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Davidson and Hazel Davidson; his son John Harrington, III; and his grandson John Harrington, IV. He is survived by: his wife Carol Davidson; his children, Sherry Chaney, Lisa Webb (Mark) and Eddie Matfey; his grandchildren, Allyson Butler (Travis), Brock Chaney (Brittney), Nikki Harrington, Jade Matfey and Stephanie Mimbs; his sisters, Brenda Burch and Martha Moretti (Tom); and his pet Bama. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Old Marion Cemetery.
The Davidson Family suggests memorials be made as donations to Carmel Baptist Church in addition to flowers.
