He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James Barrett and Eleanor Barrett; and his siblings, Jim Barrett and Sally Barrett. He is survived by: his children, Jim Barrett (Gina), Rick Barrett and Cheryl Converse (Phil); his grandsons, Jimmy Barrett (Rachel) and John Barrett; his great grandchildren, Bella Barrett and Rose Barrett; and his girlfriend Margaret Johnson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Newton Mississippi Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations be made to Aldersgate Retirement Community.
