She was predeceased by: her parents, Ouida Cullum Gilley and Malcom "Mack" Baty; her stepmother Betty Blackledge Baty; her grandparents, Frank, Carrie Baty, Elbert and Ouida Cullum; and her cousin Patricia Gilreath Cole.

She is survived by: her husband Derrel Loper of Union, MS; her sons, Allen Hatcher of Union, MS and Scott Hatcher (Lori) of Meridian, MS; her siblings, Jimmy Brantley (Donna) of South Carolina, Shane Baty (Elisa) of DeKalb, MS and Bridget Baty Harwell (John) of Meridian, MS; her grandchildren, Carley Monsour, Katelyn Hatcher and Luke Hatcher; her great grandchildren, Tinsley Rose Miles and Macey Cathryn Pittman; her siblings-in-law, Joel Loper and Darlene Rigdon; and her aunts, Martha Baty Williams of Satsuma, AL and Faye Baty Englett of Spring, TX.. She is also survived by one nephew, multiple nieces, multiple great nephews and nieces, and many cousins.

Renee was very proud of her time spent at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS, where she served as an admissions clerk, both inpatient and outpatient, and eventually at Same Day Surgery.
