He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Hullett and Helen Pauline Gable; his brother Charles Gable; and his sisters-in-law, Libby Mabry and Cora Alice Gable.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Horton Gable; his children, Helen Gable and Phillip C. Gable (Bonnie); his stepsons, Tony Ferguson and Randy Ferguson (Vicky); his grandchildren, Scarlett Gable, Savannah Parent (David), Cecily Lopez (Sam), Phillip "Sam" Gable and Chloe E. Winfield; his brother Eddie Gable; his stepgrandchildren, Richie Ferguson (Nicole), Tori Presnall (Zackery), Jennifer Hampton (Fred) and Matthew Ferguson (Megan); and his brother-in-law Ron Mabry. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northcrest Baptist Church (3412 N Hills St, Meridian, MS 39305). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (7774 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39301).
